Aaron Levitt - Binghamton University
Born and raised in New York City, Aaron is currently in his first year in SUNY Binghamton. After two years in Israel, learning in Yeshivat Orayta and then Yeshivat Otniel, Aaron is passionate to bring the unique perspectives of Torah he acquired to beyond the walls of the Beit Midrash. When not busy with his engineering or philosophy coursework, you can find him waiting for a shmooze.
Abby Sultanik - Parsons School of Design
Abby Sultanik is currently a Strategic Design and Management major at Parsons School of Design. Abby spent her gap year at MTC working with children at Beit Elazraki children's home. When Abby isn't struggling to communicate in Hebrew with her kids, she can be found thrifting for treasures or speed walking through the city streets like a real New Yorker.
Abigail Kogan - Queens College
Abby Kogan is from Queens, NY and attended Yeshiva University High School for Girls and then Midreshet Lindenbaum in Jerusalem. She loves to swim, bake, crochet, and watch movies. Her academic interests include political sciences, mathematics, and Tanach.
Adam Nerenberg - Cornell University
Adam is from Westchester NY, and is a sophomore studying applied economics and management at Cornell University. He is a member of TAMID and is involved in Jewish life on campus. In his free time he enjoys hiking, reading and spending time with friends.
Ali Winter - Columbia University
Ali Winter is a Junior at Columbia University majoring in Ancient Studies. Having grown up in Columbus, Ohio, she loves watching college football (go Bucks!) and also enjoys playing the violin, scrolling through TikTok, and learning dead languages.
Alex Birk - Queens College
As shabbos chair of the Nachalah student board, Alex is super committed to creating a lively shabbos campus life at Queens! When she's not busy arranging programming, you can find her skiing or watching football.
Andrew Galitzer - Drexel University
Andrew is a passionate artist and cartoonist from Hollywood Florida. He loves to teach Torah through cartooning and recently published a Torah Comic Book (TorahComics.com). At Drexel university, he is the educational chair of the Orthodox group and teaches weekly shiurim.
Becky Haviv - Molloy University
Becky Haviv is a Junior nursing student at Molloy University. She is part of the Hillel board, and rugby team at her university and is part of the Long Island Hillel acapella group. She enjoys singing, dancing, anything medical and playing sports. She is so excited to be a part of this year's cohort!
Bella Friedman - Florida Atlantic University
Bella Friedman is actively involved on her college campus at Hillel and Chabad. At Hillel, she is elated to be the VP of Tikkun Olam. In her free time, she loves swimming, going on adventures and hanging out with friends. She is so excited to be part of the Yavneh extended family.
Ben Wald - Columbia University/List College
Ben is a sophomore at the dual degree program between the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) and Columbia University. He is working part time at Fabric, an Augmented Reality company with a focus on sports stadiums. In his free time he enjoys sports and poker.
Brandon Melamed - Yeshiva University
Brandon Melamed is currently a sophomore at YU, just coming out of two years of learning at Yeshivat Aish Hatorah. Brandon is involved with leadership in Aish, volunteers for NCSY, and enjoys Jewish activities in all capacities. Brandon likes learning about all different subjects, and spends his free time doing outdoorsy activities, solving puzzles, and spending time with friends.
Dahlia Cohen - University of Michigan
Dahlia Cohen is a public health major at the University of Michigan and loves being the Orthodox Minyan’s Prospective/Freshman Student Coordinator. She can be found around campus drinking excessive amounts of coffee, at karaoke nights, or working as an EMT at hockey games (when she’s not shteiging chemistry in the library of course). Dahlia is from New Jersey but sometimes pretends she is from a kibbutz in Israel, Migdal Oz.
Danny Carr - Montclair State
Danny is studying Business Analytics at Montclair State. In Danny’s free time he likes to play basketball, go hiking and travel the world.
Danya Helperin - Muhlenberg College
Danya Helperin is double majoring in dance and business at Muhlenberg College, and has enjoyed being active in the Muhlenberg Jewish community this far. She has a love for all forms of art and is a giant nerd for good music. Danya embodies her hometown, Los Angeles, in her go-with-the-flow attitude towards life and the fact that she recently took up skateboarding.
Dasi Vann - University of Florida
After beginning to invest in her Judaism through NCSY, Dasi spent her gap year at Meorot Yerushalayim seminary. She now studies mechanical engineering at the University of Florida. With Hashem's help, she wants to create an environment at UF where any Jew can not only retain the Jewish practices they've grown up with, but grow and express them passionately. In her free time she enjoys learning Torah and writing music.
Effie Bluestone - The Cooper Union
Effie is a gentle friend, always looking to put a smile on others faces and bring some light to the party. He loves to meet and interact with new people, all the while growing in the process. Some of his hobbies include chess, football, Scuba diving, and hanging with family.
Eitan Fredman - Wash U
Born and raised in Saint Louis Missouri, Eitan is now a freshman at Washington University in Saint Louis. Eitan spent the last year learning at Yeshivat Torah V’Avodah in Jerusalem which helped to fuel his interest in improving Jewish life on campus. In his free time, Eitan loves to play golf, listen to music and hang out with friends
Elisheva Hermann - Rutgers University
After graduating SAR high school, Elisheva spent a gap year in Israel as a Matmidot Torah Scholar at Midreshet Lindenbaum. She currently serves as the education co-chair at the Rutgers Mesorah Hillel and is a rising sophomore at the Rutgers Business School. Elisheva is passionate about Torah, biology, organizing, cooking, and coffee.
Elsie Moche - Emory University
Elsie is a sophomore at Emory University studying nursing. She is the chair of the orthodox committee at Emory's Hillel, and on the board of OU-JLIC in Atlanta. Elsie loves meeting new people and expanding her Jewish network.
Elianna Farahmandpour - Stony Brook University
Elianna is a second year student at Stony Brook University who has served as the Iranian Jewish Club secretary for two semesters now, as well as the Chabad student club liaison for 2 semesters. Last semester, she participated in the Israel learning fellowship and the jewish learning fellowship, and this semester she is an engagement intern for Hillel at Stony Brook University.
Eric Kalimi - Harvard University

Esti graduated from Fuchs Mizrachi School in Cleveland, Ohio, and currently attends The Ohio State University. She is studying Neuroscience on a Pre-Medical track and is involved with Chabad, Hillel, and the Jewish Pre-Med Association on her campus. Esti enjoys learning about the world, listening to various types of music, and expressing herself creatively.

Ezra Landman-Feigelson - University of Illinois
A life-long Chicagoan, Ezra is a freshman at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, majoring in Urban Planning. After graduating from Ida Crown Jewish Academy, Ezra spent a gap year at Yeshivat Migdal HaTorah. He worked for the past two summers at Camp Stone. In his free time, Ezra loves to bike around Chicago and explore all of its neighborhoods. Ezra also enjoys giving personal tours of the city.
Gavi Melman - Johns Hopkins University
Gavi is a freshman studying biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University. After spending her gap year in Jerusalem at the seminary Amudim, Gavi spent the summer 3D-printing hydrogels in a tissue engineering lab at Rowan University. She enjoys playing ping pong and piano in her free time (whenever it exists).

Jack Margolius - Binghamton University
Jack is very active in Binghamton University's Jewish Community. Jack is on the Chabad G-board's Newsletter, and Education committee where he regularly gives chaburahs, speeches, and writes weekly Divrei Torah. Jack is helping run the Aish Gesher alumni Gemerah iyun shiur. Additionally, Jack is spearheading OU's HalachaU program at Binghamton. Jack loves skiing and playing ice hockey in his free time.
Jack Resin - Wash U
Jackson Resin is a Yavneh Fellow and Shalhevet High School alumnus from Los Angeles, California. Jackson is proud of the fundraising and advocacy that he’s done for the Celiac Disease Foundation over the past several years, and of the successful Business Club that he led as a Shalhevet upperclassman. Jack also enjoys sports and was a member of the Shalhevet Firehawks varsity basketball team.

Sonny grew up in Brooklyn, NY, attended Torah Tech, and is currently a student at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. He enjoys cooking, and is an avid skier. Some of his interests include Torah study, sports (namely volleyball), and volunteer work.

Hailing from the Big Apple, Jessie is a first year student in Barnard College. She is a graduate of Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls and studied at Midreshet Lindenbaum for her gap year. Jessie is passionate about learning Torah and getting others excited to learn as well. She enjoys singing, dancing, reading, playing tennis, biking, and spending time with her friends and family, especially her nephew. Jessie can’t wait to be a part of the Yavneh community!
Joseph Blumofe - Muhlenberg College
Joey Blumofe is a freshman at Muhlenberg College. He hopes to pursue a major in biology with a minor in music. He hopes to join an a capella choral group on campus and begin work to help curious Jews with rediscovering their Judaism.

Joshua Koegel is currently a junior dual majoring in Chemistry and Economics at the Macaulay honors program at Brooklyn College. He is Vice President of the OU-JLIC, president of the Chabad, and secretary of the pre-law society at Brooklyn College. He enjoys learning, reading, and playing sports. He is planning to attend law school upon graduation.
Judah Berman - Yeshiva University
Judah is a sophomore at Yeshiva University who is studying Biology and Chemistry while doing Pre-med. Judah’s hobbies and interests include soccer, hiking in and enjoying nature, cool mathematical theories, and most things that involve the ocean and water. Judah is from Florida and therefore hates the cold, but at the same time loves snow.

Julia is a Junior at NYU Gallatin studying Genetic Counseling and the Ethics of Reproduction. She LOVES music, and is always down for a ukulele jam session with friends. Kayla is a freshman at the Macaulay Honors College at City College. After attending SAR High School and Midreshet Harova, she is eager to bring her love of Israel and Judaism to her campus community. Born and raised in Miami, FL, Lexi Szafranski attended RASG Hebrew Academy before spending her gap year at Midreshet Lindenbaum. She is currently a freshman majoring in Computer Science and Finance at the University of Florida. During the summer, you can find Lexi in Camp Mesorah where she just spent her tenth summer. She enjoys reading, skydiving, doing her Daf Yomi, and spending time with friends and family.
Maayan Sandowski - Queens College
Maayan is a student at Queens College, studying applied mathematics. She is passionate about giving back to the Jewish community and looks for ways to be involved. She has done this by becoming an advocate for the halachic prenup though ORA, working with teens on travel programs, and delivering Challah weekly to those in her community who have lost family members that year. She is excited to bring her passion and appreciation for the Jewish community to the Queens College campus!

Mimi Broches is a rising junior at Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminar, studying film, political science, and Talmud. She holds the position of treasurer on the executive board at the Columbia-Barnard Hillel and is an organizer of Hillel's mental health awareness group, Nefesh. Mimi is also an active sister of Sigma Delta Tau, where she passionately designs much of the merchandising for the group.

Orli Richman - Stony Brook University

Ozzie is a social butterfly able to connect with almost anyone he meets. Ozzie also likes to workout in the gym and play Super Smash Bros. On his campus, he runs the Smash Bros club and Ski/Snowboarding Clubs.

Reuven Redlich is an upcoming sophomore at Yeshiva University and grew up in Sharon, MA. He graduated from Maimonides school and spent his gap year in TelAviv at Torah Tech. Sam Kinches - UMass Amherst
Sam hails from White Plains, NY, and is a sophomore Sports Management and Marketing Major at UMass Amherst. Along with being the Torah Chair for the Hillel group Degel, he also holds various leadership positions within the McCormack Department of Sports Management including radio broadcasting and reporting for the campus teams and research for diversity and inclusion in sports in partnership with ESPN. In his free time, Sam enjoys shooting hoops, chatting with friends, and davening for the Mets to win the World Series.

Sarah is very passionate about the Jewish community and is involved on the "O-Minyan" board, as well as very active in the community at Michigan. Shoshi Fogelman is an incoming junior at Yeshiva University majoring in Psychology. Shoshi is from Fair Lawn, NJ and went to MTVA for two years after graduating from Ma’ayanot. She is Director of Social Engagement in TAMID and an ambassador/tour guide for YU. She is passionate about Aliyah, sustainability, New Girl, and fostering positive relationships with others.
Serena Bane - Barnard College
Serena is a junior at Barnard College where she is studying Psychology and Political Science. She is passionate about contributing to all of her campus communities - the Jewish community and the broader Barnard community- and holds leadership positions on Hillel executive board, in Yavneh (the Columbia/Barnard Modern-Orthodox community), TAMID, and on The Women's Network. Sophie Koffsky - Hofstra University
Sophie is a freshman at Hofstra University who is majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to Hofstra, Sophie attended Central (YUHSG) and Midreshet Harova. Sophie is passionate about Zionism and Judaism. In her free time, Sophie loves to talk about her experience being part of Yachad staff at Moshava Wild Rose. She can't wait to be Yavneh at Hofstra.
Talya Abrams - Boston University
Talya is a freshman at Boston University. She volunteers as an advisor for NCSY, Beth El synagogue, and participates in the Boston Media Room. In her free time she enjoys playing basketball and tennis, working out with her dogs, and hanging out with family/friends.
Talya Lebson - University of Maryland
Talya Lebson is a freshman at University of Maryland. She spent the past year studying at Midreshet Lindenbaum and is excited to be starting her studies in psychology and physics. She's active in the Jewish community and enjoys Jewish learning.

Tehila grew up in Teaneck, NJ and attended Ma'ayanot for high school. She is studying Food Science at Rutgers University and enjoys being involved in the Jewish life on campus, serving as a gabbait for the orthodox community last year. Her interests include music, yoga, and baking.
Valerie Bigio - Franklin and Marshall
Valerie grew up in Cali, Colombia and went to the American Hebrew Academy in Greensboro, NC for high school. She spent two years in Israel where she was a student in Midreshet Lindenbaum "AMLAT" and then a Madricha at Midreshet Emunah V'Omanut. Now she is a Sophomore at Franklin and Marshall College hoping to major in Psychology. On campus, Valerie is on the Chabad board and attends most of the jewish activities at F&M. In her free time, Valerie loves spending time with quality friends, traveling, drawing, and going on picnics.
Yaacov Strickon - Queens College
Yaacov Strickon is from Milwaukee and is a Sophomore at Queens College, where he is studying environmental science. While attending YU he founded and was the President of the YU Environmental Club. Outside school he is a counselor for Bnei Akiva and an advisor for Yachad. Yaacov enjoys Jewish studies, biking, hiking, and spending time with nature.
Yael Schranz - Cornell University
Yael grew up in Norfolk, VA where she was a part of the conservative and orthodox Jewish community. Her summers spent at Camp Ramah New England strengthened her Jewish observance. After graduating from public school, she went on a pluralistic gap year program in Israel and then began attending Cornell University. She plans to be involved in Hillel, Chabad, and CJL as well as club lacrosse.
Yakir Kanefsky - University of Maryland
Yakir likes to find creative and fun ways to inspire individuals and to help people in need. He often gives “hype-up” speeches to motivate others to come together and strengthen the community. In addition, Yakir has created various “athletic fundraisers” which entail taking on an athletic challenge to raise donations for various nonprofit organizations.
Yarden Rindsberg - University of Central Florida
Yarden enjoys cooking, exercising, walking, and learning. She has a passion for inspiring people to add even a little Torah to their lives. She is very active and likes to incorporate fun into learning and figure out how different Torah topics relate to everyday life and staying healthy, both physically and mentally.
Yehudit Hochman - Utica University
Yehudit Hochman was born and raised in Stamford, CT and attended Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy for much of her middle and high school experience. Now attending Utica University as a pre-med, she is pumped to be starting a Jewish community with Yavneh on her campus! She is a second degree blackbelt and an instructor in Taekwondo, and enjoys eating good food, going to the beach, and having Shabbat with family and friends.
Yossi Lestz - University of Maryland
Yossi Lestz is a finance major at the University of Maryland and is from Dallas Texas. In his free time he can be found participating in various clubs around campus such as Tamid and the archery club. Yossi loves playing volleyball and soccer, but will always drop everything for a day at the beach.
Zachary Magerman - University of Pennsylvania
Zach grew up in Philadelphia and is a student at University of Pennsylvania. He spent the past two years in Israel studying and Yeshivat Orayta and he is passionate about Judaism. His interests include baseball, football, word games, and reading about psychology.
Ziva Kaye - Binghamton University
Ziva is a Binghamton student from Teaneck NJ. She is studying pre-Health to become an Occasional Therapist. In her spare time, you can often find her volunteering at Yachad or Friendship Circle and when she isn’t there she is probably cooking. Ziva is very excited to be a Yavneh Fellow and cannot wait to make an impact on the Jewish community at Binghamton.
Gila Rosenzweig - The Cooper Union
Gila is a civil engineering major at the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, graduating in Spring 2024. She is the Administrative Chair of the engineering student council, and the Secretary of the SEAoNY chapter at Cooper. In her free time she enjoys going on long walks, and watching basketball.
