Abbi Sentchuk, University of Maryland
Born and raised in LA, Abbi is a student at the University of Maryland studying Business and Non-Profit Management and Social Enterpreunship. Abbi spent this last summer traveling, and working at a homeless facility in Venice Beach, California through the Jewish Federation. On her free time Abbi loves to go on spend time with her friends and family!
Abe Teicher, Binghamton University
Abe Teicher is in his second year at Binghamton University, majoring in Political Science on the Pre-Law track. On campus, he has been involved in ongoing human rights research. Outside of the classroom, Abe enjoys watching movies, playing frisbee, and doing crossword puzzles.
Adina Peck, Emory University
Adina is from Charlotte, North Carolina but owes much of her religious journey to NCSY and role models she met in Cleveland, Ohio. At school, she's involved with Hillel, Chabad, Jhealth, and Meor and is excited to live in a Jewish affinity house (the Bayit), which she hopes will become a center for Jewish students on campus. In addition to Jewish life, Adina is passionate about environmental health, mentorship, and mental health, so she can be found doing conservation work in local forests, teaching Hebrew to young adults, or studying psychology.
Aden Cohen, Queens College
Aden is from Englewood, NJ and is currently a sophomore at Queens College. Having spent a year in YTVA, he is passionate about Judaism and has gained a true love for Israel. His hobbies include, but aren't limited to, playing guitar, listening to the Grateful Dead, collecting records, and pretty much all things music.
Aaron Gross, Washington University of St. Louis
After graduating from Katz Yeshiva High School of South Florida, Aaron spent a year studying in Yeshivat Shaarei Mevaseret Zion in Israel. Aaron is a freshman at Washington University in St. Louis, studying finance and economics. He also enjoys baseball, grilling, film, and time with family and friends.
Aaron Taylor, McMaster University
From YTVA to Zoom University, to McMaster University Aaron is a university sophomore from Toronto currently studying in the Arts & Sciences program. Aaron enjoys playing tennis, ping pong, and guitar, and is looking forward to working with Yavneh on campus this year!
Joshua Partovi, UCLA
Joshua is the president of OU-JLIC on campus at UCLA. He is majoring in psychology and would like to pursue a career in education.
Avi Pullin, Muhlenberg College
Avi Pullin grew up from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. But graduated Ida Crown Jewish Academy in Chicago, Illinois in 2020. After spending a year at YTVA in Jerusalem for his gap year program he will attend Muhlenberg College. While he is at Muhlenberg he will be studying physics and statistics. While his favorite TV show is Clifford the Big Red Dog he has other interests. His favorite activities include painting, cooking, and playing sports.
Maya Wind, Queens College
After graduating from Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls, Maya spent a gap year at MMY. She is entering her second year at Queens College as a Psychology major and minoring in Business and Liberal Arts (BALA). Maya is passionate about Torah, mental health awareness, Israel, and is always down for a hike or a Broadway jam session!
Stephanie Appelbaum, Muhlenberg College
Stephanie's involved in many different parts of the Muhlenberg community but you can always find her either in the gym or outside doing work with friends. Between Chabad and friends, she's always running around but you can always spot her with a messy bun.
Eitan Turok, Columbia University
Eitan Turok is an Applied-Math major at Columbia University and an obsessive learner who just can’t help but ask questions. When he is not rock climbing, you can catch him befriending strangers, devilishly scribbling in his journal, or eating unholy amounts of pasta. He is a part of Columbia’s rock climbing team and Columbia’s Data Product Initiative.
Brian Parness, Northwestern University
Brian Parness is an Orthodox Jew from Englewood, NJ, and also a current Yavneh Fellow at Northwestern University. He plays guitar and enjoys a nice cup of coffee. He’s always ready to talk for hours about Jewish Philosophy, music, economics, or architecture.
Samantha Maryles, Cornell University
Samantha Maryles is freshman at Cornell University who loves to hang out with her friends, read books and play volleyball! She is a leader for yavneh on campus and can’t wait to meet all different types of Jews!

Zach is an active member of the UMD Jewish community. He is a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He also has recently taken up tennis as a hobby and plays frequently with friends.
Cecelia Ashenberg, UMass Amherst
Cecelia (also known as Cece) grew up in Livingston, New Jersey where she attended Kushner from kindergarten all the way through high school. She is currently a sophomore studying Communication Disorders (talk to her about it!!) at UMass Amherst where she’s currently serving as the co-president of her Hillel group (Go Degel!!). When she’s not studying or hanging with her Hillel friends, she can be found talking to anyone willing to talk to her, swimming at the campus pool, or hanging out with her sorority sisters.

Ilana Epstein hails from Highland Park, New Jersey. She is passionate about studying and sharing Torah, the performing arts, cooking and baking, and mindfulness. She is a first-year at Brandeis where she studied psychology.

Molly Goldstein, Cornell University
Molly Goldstein is from Houston, TX, and graduated from Robert M Beren Academy. She is a freshman at Cornell University looking to major in Government and Near Eastern Studies with a minor in Dance. You can find Molly dancing in the ballet studio, snuggling with her cats, or watching Netflix/Hallmark movies. She is excited to become an active member of Jewish life on campus!
Ohad Tessler, Tulane University
Ohad is a freshman at Tulane University from Houston! His favorite hobbies are playing and watching basketball as well as playing guitar. Sam, a native New Yorker, is a Freshman at NYU. He spent his gap year at Yeshivat Har Etzion, after graduating from SAR High School. He enjoys playing and watching sports, spending time with friends and learning Torah.
Ben Baruch, University of Maryland
Ben is a journalism major at the University of Maryland, College Park. He is working on growing the Heart to Heart Shabbat project, which aims to show less affiliated Jews on campus the beauty of Shabbat. Ben also loves hockey and hanging out on the beach in the summertime.
Atara Kresch, University of Michigan
Atara is an incoming sophomore at the University of Michigan where she is majoring in Graphic and Product Design. She is heavily involved in many leadership positions on her campus including FYSH (First Year Students of Hillel) Board, O-minyan (religious life on campus) Board, and the Jewish Resource Center. Some of her favorite hobbies include, hiking, baking and creating art. She is super energetic, kind-hearted, and spontaneous making her the perfect candidate for a fun adventure. Alex Rubel, UCLA
Alex is an incoming freshman at UCLA, where he plans to study economics and history. A native of Los Angeles, he went to Shalhevet High School and took a gap year to learn at Yeshivat Lev HaTorah in Ramat Beit Shemesh, Israel. Alex loves running, reading a good book, anything to do with aviation, and takes his chess hobby a little too seriously.
Leo Koganov, Northeastern University
Leo is from Stamford, Connecticut and is an incoming freshman at Northeastern University. He will be spending his first semester in Greece! Leo is majoring in International Business and hopes to possibly work with the NBA one day. Some of his passions include learning about countries and languages, playing chess, and yelling at anyone that isn't a Boston sports fan.
Binyamin (Benny) Klein, Yeshiva University
Benny Klein is a kind hearted young lad who loves soccer, dance, and accapella music. Hailing from West Hempstead, Benny attended Yeshivat Orayta and Yeshivat Darkaynu in Israel and now hopes to bring his enthusiastic and inclusive leadership style to Yeshiva University to help build the modern orthodox youth community. He utilizes humor, thoughtfulness, and sensitivity to enhance every culture he touches.

Following his graduation from Tarbut V'Torah in Irvine, California, Ilan spent the past year learning at Yeshivat Orayta in the Old City of Jerusalem. He now plans to pursue a degree in Engineering at UCLA. Ilan enjoys playing piano and guitar, basketball, and loves to explore the outdoors.

Renée Agaian is a student at SUNY Binghamton and studied at Bar Ilan University last fall as a gap year student. She is majoring in political science and is an aspiring lawyer. She is an active member in Standwithus and is a passionate advocate for Israel.

Yoni Mayer is an incoming junior at Yeshiva University. He is a member of Tamid Consulting, the National Society for Leadership and Success, and is a student athlete on the Yeshiva University Tennis team. He is passionate about movies, music, and anything related to the outdoors.

AJ Eisenberg is a rising sophomore at Rutgers University where he is pursuing a major in Business. AJ is from Teaneck, NJ and went to YTVA after graduating from SAR High School. In his free time, AJ loves to go to the beach/lake, listen to and play music, make promo videos, chill with friends, and pursue his automotive interests. He’s honored to accept this leadership position to grow and spread the light on campus.

Mordechai is someone who is kind and always wants to give and help. He is going to study Mechanical Engineering in College. The main thing he wants to do is help build the Jewish community on his college campus.

Mendy Newmark is from Cleveland, OH and just spent the last two years learning at Yeshiva Orayta. During the year, Mendy is a student at IDC Herzliya and in the summers, you can find him at Camp Stone. Mendy is committed to creating a warm atmosphere and loves the presence of people. He enjoys a nice bonfire with a guitar at night and will be more than happy to hear how your day is going.

A native Texan, Yosef is a freshman in Mechanical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. He is an Eagle Scout who loves exploring nature, cooking, and playing the piano. Last year he attended Yeshivat Lev Hatorah and maintains an interest in leining, Hebrew, and connecting with other Jews.
Sophie Maimon, Queens College
Sophie is a rising Junior at Queens College studying Linguistics, Computer Science and Arabic. She enjoys learning about archaeology and just spent her summer interning for the Israel Antiquities Authority at an archaeological dig site in Israel.

Jocelyn Cohn is from Merrick Long Island. She went to Kennedy high school in Bellmore, Machon Maayan and now attends Yeshiva University Sy Syms School of Business. Danielle Dorfman, from Riverdale, New York, is a current sophomore studying economics at Barnard College. She is an active member of the Tikvah Collegiate Forum and a pro-Israel supporter on campus. Taliah Soleymani is a rising Junior at Yeshiva University Stern College studying Neuroscience on the Pre-med track. This year she will be leading science experiment workshops for elementary school students in order to help foster a passion for science as a START leader. In her free time Taliah can be found at sunrise yoga, sewing, or exploring NY city!
Eli Fuchs, University of Central Florida
Eli is a sophomore studying Political Science at the University of Central Florida after a year at Yeshivah Sha'alvim. His favorite subjects are judaism, law, history, politics, and philosophy. He spends his time playing music (banjo, and guitar), reading classics, hiking, building RC cars, and at the Hillel, Chabad, and Yehudi on campus.

Ilana Rouhani is a junior at Yeshiva University who is a part of Stern's soccer team, a member of the Bnei Akiva society, and on the Israel club board. Miriam Fisch comes to the Yavneh Fellowship after an incredible summer working at Yeshivat Maharat and studying both advanced krav maga and Tanya. After a year in Nishmat, Miriam is a first year student at Brandeis University studying Pre-Health with the hopes of assisting the community both religiously and medically to create a compassionately textual Judaism.

Maya Klibanoff takes advantage of every opportunity offered to her. In Binghamton, she is very involved in campus clubs including BUZO, The Binghamton Fashion Society and TAMID where she will be the chair of recruitment for this upcoming year. Shoshi is from Teaneck, NJ and attended Ma’ayanot. She spent a year learning at MTVA in Israel before starting Rutgers University where she is on track to major in biomedical engineering. She is involved with Jewish life on campus and is on the board of the Orthodox Students of Hillel as the communications chair. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Ari is pursuing a Computer Science degree with a potential certificate in Near Eastern Studies. On campus he is involved in Koleinu, a Jewish Acapella group, and is an enthusiastic member of the Orthodox community. In his free time, Ari enjoys reading movie plots on Wikipedia and starting online courses (but never finishing them).

Ty is currently studying Computer Science at Princeton. He doesn't quite know how he hasn't made Aliyah yet, but some things in America he loves are SAR High School, Camp Stone, and the YU Commentator.

Melitta attended Bruriah High School and is currently a Freshman at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Where she is majoring in Forensic Psychology. In her free time she enjoys art, traveling, running and hanging out with family and friends.

Sonny grew up in Brooklyn, NY, attended Yeshivat Eretz HaTzvi, and is currently a student at CUNY Baruch College. He enjoys watching Star Wars, Avatar, and Marvel. Some of his interests include Torah learning, sports (namely football and volleyball), and volunteer work.

Yael is a Sophomore at Cornell University interested in studying the intersectionality of Psychology and Business.
